About Atopia Space GmbH 
Atopia enables museums, orchestras, and cultural institutions to create and share virtual exhibitions and performances that people can explore directly on the web or in VR — without any coding or technical setup.

Founded in 2023 by Annabell Vacano, Atopia was born from a simple idea: cultural experiences shouldn’t be limited by geography or budgets. Access to culture is a human right — yet millions remain excluded. Atopia solves this by making cultural content globally accessible, interactive, and emotionally powerful in virtual space.

Today, Atopia works with leading institutions across the globe such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Aargauer Kunsthaus, Deutsches Museum, enabling them to create their own virtual worlds without coding or heavy development costs.

Atopia is backed by FOV Ventures (Europe’s leading XR fund) and Heartfelt_ (formerly APX), and has been supported though the IGP and FFF Bavaria.
